Insurance Specialist

Outstanding opportunity for an Insurance Specialist to join a financial services team whose purpose is to look after the financial well-being of those who protect and serve Queensland.


About the role
As part of a small, supportive, and professional Lending and Insurance Team, our Insurance Specialists are responsible for working directly with our members, either face-to-face or over the phone, to understand their personal financial needs and identify product and service solutions which support their financial goals and well-being.

Using a consultative, needs based approach, the role will mainly be responsible for growing our insurance portfolio and support our Personal Lending growth and related products and services.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you
The following skills and experience will set you up for success:

  • MUST have Insurance Sales experience, or comparable
  • Contact Centre experience advantageous
  • Proven ability to make needs-based sales
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Tier 2 General Advice certification in General Insurance and Deposit Products, or approved equivalent, is required (support to complete this certification may be provided by QBANK)
  • In addition, you must be someone who enjoys working with others and places team success alongside your own
